SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP -

Staff-Resident Relationship -
(Symbiotic)

---The Staff-Resident Relationship is a very symbiotic relationship. This means that one depends on the other to survive. The Resident needs the Staff to do certain things for them, so as to carry out as normal a life as possible. The Staff ''does'' for the Resident, because it is their job.
---The best relationship is one that has the Residents needs and preferences taken care of by someone willing and able to take care of them. In the hospital setting the care giver would be on the Staff.
---They, (Staff and Resident,) also, have whatever attitude they bring to the table. We must remember that each is a human being and is capable of displaying any attitude possible. Some are better together than others. Each position has unique qualities that better may fit with one over another. Any two people does not necessarily a match make. One may not fit as well as another. A personality matching.
