---Here is a powerpoint that I presented at a meeting between the executive staff and the residents' council. This took place after John K., had passed away. The location was in A-300 in the nurses offices of the old building.

.

.
---Here is a video made by my friend, Rey G., who works at the hospital where I live. I had some tears watching this video. If you are connected with the hospital, you may find yourself welling up, also. Thank you, Rey, for the great gift of making the DVD and my being able to post it. The video lasts a little over 32 minutes.

BONDING - ppt.

http://www.mediafire.com/?o0s0c9w44mkb2o9
---A refresher course in what I see is happening much, more often. Kudos to ALL who see the value in this and how it reflects back to us ALL. This DOES means you, also. Bonding is a wonderful thing and improves the life of all concerned. I think that if we'd each do one more heartfelt deed per day that we see needs to be done...I think that we would see an improvement overall

A Poem To Set The TONE -

HOSPITAL TIME -
(Dedication to Dr. Grace - See Video below)

TIME Is ''DIFFERENT'' For RESIDENTS And STAFF
RESIDENT TIME Is MUCH SLOWER,
FOR THE MOST PART!!

When A RESIDENT In ''PAIN''
Waits For TEN MINUTES
It Can Seem Like ''FOREVER.''
TEN MINUTES To The STAFF
Almost A ''BREAK.''

STAFF GO HOME
GO OUT
GO
GO TO PARTIES
THEY HAVE SOMETHING ELSE

RESIDENTS ARE HOME
WATCH TV
TAKE MEDICATION
GO TO BED...
THERE'S NOT MUCH ELSE

The TRICK Is -
To FEEL GOOD

HOSPITAL TIME -
.

Video -  I made this video awhile ago about the time Dr. Dammann had her accident. John Kanaley had liked this poem and recited it to the nurses. To set the record straight...there is little connection between the poem and Dr. Grace, other than the fact that I dedicated it to her. She has been to visit at the hospital.
