—My answer has been the same for quite awhile. I feel that people in general don’t enjoy where they are in life and abuse substances so as not to experience their own here and now. The only real happiness is to face the here and now of your life, but to most it means to face embarrassments, etc and truthfully begin telling yourself the truth.  At first, it isn’t necessarily fun. Our society doesn’t often do that. Especially…anymore. And…it works no matter what condition your life is in.

—People don’t want to look bad and lying seems a better alternative. Eventually it will hit the fan and all come back. Lying about what you’ve done will not work eventually, though it may seem like it at first. The truth will come out. It is not because I said it, it is one of those inconvenient truths that we conveniently avoid until it can’t be avoided any longer. I’ve been there! Learn to be truthful and you’ll avoid a lot of pain. Being who you are reaps many benefits than being like others or like someone else...won’t. More Later…

I think all of us are hitting rock bottom in this whole affair—
I mean the bullying of Mother Nature, of course.
It was even on TV as I recall. You can’t fool
Mother Nature, but, of course, that didn’t stop us.
Nature has no rewards or punishments, just consequences.
What’s going on now is causing many of us to become very serious.
It’s difficult to be as frivolous as we once were.
These times don’t call for it.

I still maintain that being kinder to each other
and kind to the earth itself will turn things around completely.
Don’t deprive anyone or anything of kindness.
Everyone and everything needs it. We are ALL in this together and the need to be treated kindly runs rampart!
I know I said in 20 minutes,
but eight letters will do: k-i-n-d-n-e-s-s.
